Beat The Streets Tampa Bay is a sports-based youth development nonprofit committed to fostering the holistic growth of student-athletes in underserved communities. Through wrestling, mentorship, and academic support, BTSTB helps young people build discipline, confidence, resilience, and pride.
Fargo / Junior Nationals
Creating Life-Changing Opportunities
In its first year of offseason competition, Beat The Streets Tampa Bay helped two girls qualify for the Junior National Championships in Fargo, North Dakota. Isabella McFarlane, who already won a state championship this year, and Letzyah “Liz” Rivera, a first-year wrestler, earned the opportunity through hard work, commitment, and growth on the mat.
Opportunities like this are about more than competition. They help young athletes develop as wrestlers, build character, and experience life-changing moments that support their long-term growth.
